Hardware Setup

• Capture hardware: Steam VR
• First time running eye tracking software
• You need to manually turn the eye tracking software on the first time you run it
• Make sure the VIVE Pro Eye is connected to your computer
• Start SR_Runtime. The icon should appear in the system tray
• If SteamVR is not already running, start it first
• Wear a headset
• From the virtual reality system control panel, select VIVE Pro Eye
• Read and agree to the license agreement
• After that, the eye-tracking software will start automatically

Software Setup

• Capture software: SDK SR Unity
• Download the SRanipal SDK and SR
• SRanipal SDK: allows developers to track and integrate user eye movements
• Need to display the current eye tracking status when SR is running
• Run Steam VR and connect to HTC VIVE eye pro virtual reality glasses
• Run the SRanipalRuntime software to enable eye tracking
• Run the project in unity: The glasses simulate eye movement
